Something Something Theatre was founded in 2015 by Joan O'Dwyer, Esther Almazán and Whitney Morton Woodcock to present modern plays from the canon and reimagined classics, with a goal of better-than-parity for women playwrights, season after season.

JOAN O'DWYER
Founding Artistic Director
Joan received her MPhil in Creative Writing from Trinity College Dublin at the turn of the century, living in Blackrock with her then-14-year-old daughter.
ESTHER ALMAZÁN 
​Founding Director Emerita
Esther ​has her Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts and her Master’s in Scriptwriting.
​WHITNEY MORTON WOODCOCK
​Founding Director
Whitney ​has been involved in theatre for more than half her life.

MIKE SAXON

Mike Saxon is a native Tucsonan and a U of A graduate, majoring in
Theatre Education. ​
KATHLEEN WOODCOCK
TREASURER
Kathleen was born in the Presidio of San Francisco. At age 21 she joined the Air Force as a computer operator.
CAROL ELLIOTT

Carol is a local theatre enthusiast and member of any organization that will have her.
